Isn't that a great movie theme, and life theme? "We'll figure it out on the way" - reminds me of Indiana Jones. On the other spectrum of drama is this AM's car ride to drop Grace off at middle school while she crams for her big science test. "Dad, what does heat capacity mean?" Stoplight, Google in my pocket (android smartphone with wireless data connection), boom ....defined. Tensions eased. Technology amazes me even more now that we can so easily use it 'on the way'.

Still haven't gotten my act together re: picture / movie posts. (I miss Posterous).

7th grade registration

The halls of John Muir jr. High are familiar, so stress levels for Grace are MUCH lower than last year. She sweet talked her way out of a midget sized locker, connected with some friends, and is busily organizing her school supplies as I type (in between texts from her friends!). We confirmed on the way out of school one of her new extra curriculars....

Mia scores her first soccer goal tonight! First shot bounced off the goalie, second shot found the corner of the net : Goooooaaaaaaaal !!!!! (then we went for ice cream) ;-) 

Grace the sprinter

Although she told me repeatedly not to come, I snuck out over lunch hour anyway to catch Grace's track meet. (I kept a relatively low profile, I think :) ) She did awesome!
